House music fans will be happy to know that the likes of Tiesto and David Guetta have entertained the dancing throngs inside this historic building. These days, following some extensive and relatively recent renovations that preserve its character, it does double-duty as a live music venue and dance club, featuring both national touring acts and DJs alike. The Beacham began its life in the 1920s as a showcase for vaudevillians. While guests of all ages are welcome during the day, you must be at least 21 to enter after 10 p.m. No ball caps, sleeveless shirts or flip-flops allowed. Men may wear slacks, jeans or dress shorts. In between dance sessions, guests can enjoy a full bar and menu of food with throwbacks to the 20s. There are intimate tables surrounding the dance floor as well as tables lining a second-floor balcony overlooking the action. Locals also love this place for its unique vibe. Located in Disney Springs, this is the place where you'll find Aunt Mindy from Pittsburgh breaking it down on the dance floor while a live band plays swing music. The staff dresses the part in flapper-type dresses, suspends and newsboys caps, and many of the guests do as well adding to the fun atmosphere. Take a step back in time at The Edison, themed to look like a 1920s electric company. Those looking for velvet ropes and bottle service need not apply. Taxidermy and other rustic lodge-style touches make the theme quite immersive for what amounts to a beloved local dive that's still going strong after many years in the downtown scene. ![]() For the rest of us, though, who might appreciate a mellow, draft beer experience at 5:30 pm on a Monday and a rowdy, put-your-hands-in-the-air kinda vibe when the clock strikes midnight on Friday (or do we mean Saturday?), the Lodge is a dive-bar chameleon of the highest order. It's a bar, it's a club, it's whatever you want it to be except fancy, so if you're a VIP-section kinda clubber, this ain't your jam. Blue Martini brings it for a more sophisticated crowd.Ī.D.'s expert tip: Blue Martini's happy hour goes long, which is nice if you can't make it out of the office at 5. Recommended for Dance Clubs because: Gen Z & Millennials aren't the only demographics who likes a good dance party. There are Blue Martini locations throughout Florida and a few others in Washington, Texas, Arizona and Las Vegas, so it's a hot spot with which you may already be familiar. Blue Martini's demographic is impressively diverse on a packed night, you might see multiple generations burning up the dance floor and sipping generously poured cocktails. Entertainment here comes in the form of either live bands or DJs â" some nights showcase both (the records usually start spinning around 10). Monday's Industry Night and Wednesday's Ladies' Night are both particularly popular, the latter featuring deep bar discounts for members of the fairer sex. Well known for its daily, half-price Happy Hour from 4-8 p.m., Blue Martini is one part upscale lounge and dining establishment with a vibe that morphs into a club after sunset. As always, old favorites like the Independent Bar welcome just about anyone who’s feeling the beat. Folks looking to don their hats and boots – and maybe take in a little NASCAR or live music – will find the ample space at Cowboys to their liking. Universal's CityWalk has several clubs all in one area, something to please everyone in your party. Blue Martini’s well known happy hour gives way to a sophisticated dance party as the night comes on, while Aero boasts a rooftop space with pretty cabanas to match. Parliament House caters to the gay community (though everyone is welcome, to be sure) it’s a veritable historic landmark in gay tourism – and a hell of a place to dance.
